Sebastiaan Paul Mulders received his M.Sc. Systems and Control in 2015, and his Ph.D. in wind turbine control in 2020 at the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. Since 2021 he has been a postdoctoral researcher on the development of learning algorithms for wind turbine controllers with the Delft University of Technology, where he has been an assistant professor since 2022. His main research interest is in data-enabled control co-design. The co-design approach is supported by machine learning techniques for the synergetic and efficient optimization of the system and controller to reach higher performance levels for present-day complex systems with increased levels of interaction.
